The lights glow purple. Her lipstick is flawless. The city is alive outside her glass windows. She puts on her headphones, flips the mic switch, and greets her audience.”Welcome to Oouu After Dark… where the truth sounds better at midnight.”Her guest? Nasir Wolfe—a newly signed R&B star with a sultry voice and a mysterious vibe. His eyes stay locked on Antoinette the whole time. He praises her intellect. Flirts effortlessly. Listeners in the chat go wild.But Layah, Antoinette’s best friend and engineer, watches from the control booth… uncomfortable. She mouths, “He’s weird.”The interview ends with Nasir leaning into the mic and saying:“You’re not just a host. You’re my muse.”Antoinette laughs it off. But that night, she gets a message from an unknown number:> “You looked so beautiful on that mic. I wanted to kiss the screen.”She brushes it off—until she gets another message. Then another.
