COLD OPEN – THE AFTERMATH

EXT. CITY PLAZA – NIGHT (AFTER THE EXPLOSION)

The city is in ruins. Buildings burned out, streets split open, cars twisted like toys. Smoke rises from craters, and sirens wail faintly in the distance.

Survivors stumble like ghosts, coughing, bleeding, eyes wide with trauma. Some pray. Some laugh hysterically, broken by what they’ve seen.

In the middle of it all—Antoinette lies on the ground, blood streaming from her nose, her chest rising slowly. Beside her, Bishop Maalik drags himself up, his clothes torn and shotgun bent.

Above them, the vortex still spins—but quieter now, pulsing like a heartbeat.

And standing at the center of the plaza… Dark Antoinette, her double, veins glowing black and gold, eyes cold with fire.

DIALOGUE – THE DIVISION

Antoinette pulls herself up, shaking, spear fragments still glowing faintly in her palms.

ANTOINETTE
(hoarse)
Who are you?

DARK ANTOINETTE
I’m what you tried to bury. Every lie you ever told yourself. Every fear you tried to silence. I am your bloodline’s debt. And now—I collect.

Her voice overlaps Antoinette’s, like two frequencies clashing. Civilians nearby collapse just from hearing it, blood pouring from their ears.

HORROR BEAT – THE NEW TRUTH

The ground rumbles. Out of the cracks crawl new creatures—not shadows this time, but humanoid hybrids, half-smoke, half-flesh, with bones protruding like weapons. Their screams sound like children crying.

Maalik fires point-blank, blowing holes in one. It doesn’t fall. Instead, it regenerates, whispering in the voice of his dead wife:

CREATURE
“You failed me. You left me.”

Maalik stumbles back, shaken.

ANTOINETTE
(to herself, trembling)
They’re not just demons anymore… they’re us.

ACTION SEQUENCE – CHAOS IN THE STREETS

Dark Antoinette raises her hand. The hybrids swarm the plaza. Civilians scream as they’re dragged into the shadows, bones snapping, eyes rolling back.

Antoinette grabs a shard of the broken spear—it glows faintly when her blood touches it. She slashes a creature’s chest, burning it into ash.

DARK ANTOINETTE
(mocking)
See? You fight them with blood. Every cut, every scream, every death feeds me.

Antoinette screams back, unleashing a wave of golden sound that knocks the hybrids back—but the strain almost kills her, blood bursting from her ears.

REVELATION – THE NEW GAME

Dark Antoinette steps closer, whispering into her ear:

DARK ANTOINETTE
The Choir doesn’t need to kill humanity anymore. It only needs them to keep lying. Every unspoken truth, every broken oath, every hidden sin—they feed me.

Antoinette shakes her head, tears streaming.

ANTOINETTE
No… I won’t let you.

DARK ANTOINETTE
You don’t have a choice. You can’t kill me… because I am you.

ENDING BEAT – EPISODE 1

The vortex above pulses louder, and seven new cracks split across the earth, each glowing red like open wounds.

The hybrids screech. Civilians scatter. Maalik drags Antoinette away as she stares at her double, trembling but defiant.

VESPER (V.O.)
“The key is divided. The covenant breaks. The world is ours.”
