COLD OPEN – THE CRY
INT. METROPOLIS HOSPITAL – NIGHT
A nursery. Rows of newborns asleep under soft blue lights.
Then it happens—every baby cries at the exact same pitch, in perfect unison, shaking the glass walls.
Nurses rush in. Monitors flicker. IV pumps beep irregularly. One baby flatlines… then two.
Security cameras glitch. A black static figure crawls across the walls, bending backward, its face made of spinning TV dials.
The Thirteenth Choir has found the bloodline.
INT. UNDERGROUND STAR CITY – CONTINUOUS
Antoinette and Bishop Maalik emerge from the tunnels, covered in dust and sweat. Her phone vibrates violently—images of the nursery flash across the screen like a livestream from nowhere.
BISHOP MAALIK
(reading her screen)
They’re going after the infants. The covenant carriers… they start at birth.
Antoinette stares, horrified, then bolts for the exit.
INT. HOSPITAL – CHAOS
Sirens blare. Lights flicker between white and blood-red. Doctors shout orders over the intercom. Parents scream in the waiting room as security guards collapse one by one, possessed by the Choir.
The air feels heavy… like grief itself became a weight pressing on everyone’s chest.
Antoinette and Maalik burst through the doors. A doctor grabs Antoinette.
DOCTOR
You can’t be in here—
He freezes mid-sentence, eyes turning white, voice layered:
POSSESSED DOCTOR
“The key… bleeds.”
The Choir rips through the staff like paper.
ACTION SEQUENCE – THE WARD
Antoinette grabs a dropped fire axe. Maalik fires his shotgun point-blank at shadow-creatures crawling across the ceiling.
Monitors explode. Hallways fill with smoke and screams. One baby is lifted out of its crib by invisible hands—
Antoinette dives, catching the child mid-air as the hands dissolve into static.
The Choir circles her. Their overlapping voices fill every speaker, every wall, every vibrating windowpane:
CHOIR (V.O.)
“Give us the blood. Give us the key.”
THE POWER AWAKENING – DIVINE FREQUENCY
Antoinette falls to her knees, holding the baby close. Tears stream down her face.
ANTOINETTE
(whispers)
God… if you put this in me… then use me now.
The hospital goes silent. Her heartbeat becomes a thunderous HUM that builds into a wave of pure frequency blasting outward from her body.
Windows shatter. The Choir screams, their black forms peeling off the walls like burning paper.
Lights turn gold. Every monitor flashes the same word in every language: TRUTH.
The babies stop crying, staring wide-eyed at Antoinette like they recognize her.
AFTERMATH – THE WARNING
Maalik helps her up, stunned.
BISHOP MAALIK
You just… rewrote the room with sound.
ANTOINETTE
(shaking)
I didn’t do it. Something in me did.
The intercom crackles with static. Then Vesper’s voice slides through like oil on water:
VESPER (V.O.)
“The key grows stronger. So will we.”
The lights go out.
ENDING BEAT – EPISODE 5
The episode ends on Antoinette clutching the baby, eyes glowing faintly, while outside the hospital windows, seven black storm clouds gather over the city in perfect formation.
VESPER (V.O.)
“The gates… are opening.”
