COLD OPEN – DAYBREAK – FOREST PERIMETER

Dameon, weak but alive, finds a trail with a broken satellite dish.
He thinks it’s a way out.
Pulls out his emergency tracker.

No signal.

Suddenly — his hands begin shaking uncontrollably.
He starts sweating. Twitching.

JELLY JAZZ (O.S.)
That’s the detox, baby.
You’re goin’ offline… for real.

She’s already barefoot. Calm. Humming.

Behind them, the woods shift — trees now twisted into icons:

One tree has the Twitter bird carved into its bark.

Another tree has an Instagram reel spinning on its trunk like a cursed carousel.

The forest floor is glitching like a phone screen with broken pixels.

ACT ONE – THE ESCAPE ATTEMPT

The remaining survivors make a plan:

> Ditch tech.
Follow the old ranger map.
Reach the edge of the woods by sundown.

They drop all devices. Smash everything.
Now it’s survival.

But as soon as they step away from their last gadget…

THE WOODS COME ALIVE.

ACT TWO – THE POSSESSED APPS ATTACK

Each influencer is stalked by a physical hallucination of the app they used most:

1. Dameon – GOOGLE MAPS GHOUL
A glowing humanoid figure covered in roads and data pins whispers:

> “Recalculating route…
Your death is 300 ft away.”

It slices GPS coordinates into his skin as he runs.

2. Briah (voiceless) – INSTAGRAM SHADE SPIRITS
She’s surrounded by ghostly influencers with flawless skin, dripping filters, and ring lights for eyes.

They grab her, forcing her to pose for photos.

Each flash burns part of her soul away.
She screams — but no sound comes.

3. New arrival: “QBOI” – TikTok Entity
He’s a loud, fast-talking dance influencer who thought he’d get clout from the chaos.

Now, he’s being chased by a looping clone of himself, forever doing the last dance he posted — breaking bones every time it repeats.

ACT THREE – JELLY JAZZ’S TRUTH

Jelly leads them deeper into a forgotten, tech-free part of the forest.

Here, the trees are silent. No icons. Just nature.

JELLY
This is where the algorithm can’t reach.
It’s where I first unplugged… and finally heard God whisper.

Dameon, bleeding, collapses beside her.

DAMEON
Why didn’t you warn us?

JELLY
Because y’all weren’t ready to listen.

Suddenly, a massive shadow moves behind the trees — a beast made of all their downloaded data.

It’s called: “The Cache.”
And it wants them back online.

ACT FOUR – FINAL ESCAPE GAME

To survive, they must play “The Offline Game.”

Rules:

1. No speaking in hashtags.

2. No lying about who you are.

3. No screen time — even in your mind.

They run.
But QBOI breaks the third rule.
He starts narrating his escape like a vlog.

The Cache grabs him.

Rips him open.

Inside him: memory cards, notification tones, and a SIM card for a phone he never owned.

ENDING – THE EDGE OF THE WOODS

Jelly and Dameon reach the border.
The air feels different. Natural.

But then—Dameon sees a billboard with his face on it, advertising a fake survival podcast.

DAMEON
I never made that.

VOICE FROM SPEAKER:
We did.
Welcome to Season 3.

His screen blinks on again — against his will.

THE SYSTEM STILL KNOWS HIM.

POST-CREDITS SCENE:

A new influencer in another city gets a welcome box from an unknown brand.

Inside is:

A map of Ascension Lake

A golden phone

A message:

> “The algorithm is offline.
You’re next.”
